Day 6 - 2 September 2022

 Day 6 - 2nd Sept

Brisbane Airbnb by the coast.

After breakfast we walked to the ferry terminal.

The whole area had been purged of quaint queenslanders, in preference of apartments (except 2 next to each other, stranded in a sea of 4 storey concrete).

Some blokes were playing guitar and singing in Portuguese near the car park, with no care for the looks the locals gave.

We got on the road a little late, and an insane amount of roadwork… but managed to drop off stuff at Palm Court Noosa and get back to pick up Dedulya and Babulya from the airport. We were glad of the week long stay stretching out before us.

Waves breaking 100mtres away, and the gates to Noosa Heads National park right next door. The walk to Hastings street was a 30minute saunter, and an adult unfettered by nappy bags and a toddler could probably walk it briskly in 15-20. A well lit wide, well maintained boardwalk, with rails and decking cut to allow trees through, with the occasional possum scampering past.

Pizza from el capitano was very good.

And then rest after the first leg of our extended east coast tour was required.

We may not be travelling every day this week, but we will be busy!
